This site was created and is maintained by Dr. Kurt Harris, who is solely responsible for its content. Dr. Harris earned his Ph.D. in Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz (2004); an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville (1997); and a B.A. in English from Indiana-Purdue University at Fort Wayne (1994). He is currently Associate Professor and Chair of the English Department at Southern Utah University, where he teaches courses in Victorian literature. Among Dr. Harris’s publications and presentations are essays on Thackeray, Dickens, Tennyson, and Beowulf. Dr. Harris’s complete CV can be viewed online; he can be contacted at harrisk@suu.edu.
